The standard
What competent looks like.
The body of knowledge behind every GAISB credential: what a practitioner must understand, demonstrate and be accountable for when they put AI into production.

Global AI Standards Body
GAISB is a vendor-neutral, practitioner-governed standards and certification body for artificial intelligence. The AI World Summit is where that standard meets the people applying it.
Why we exist
Every profession that mattered eventually agreed what competent looked like.
Medicine did it. Accounting did it. Engineering did it. Each one decided, at some point, that "trust me" was not good enough, and wrote down what a practitioner must be able to do.
Artificial intelligence has not done it yet. It is being deployed into hospitals, banks, ministries and classrooms by people whose competence nobody can verify, against a standard nobody has written.
GAISB exists to write it, govern it, and make it publicly verifiable.

How we work
No model provider, cloud or platform owns the standard. A GAISB credential says what a person can do, not which product they bought.
The standard is set by people who deploy AI in production, not by a committee describing work it has never done.
A credential nobody can check is a claim, not a qualification. Every GAISB credential is designed to be verifiable by anyone who needs to.
What we do
A standard nobody applies is paperwork. The summit is where the standard stops being a document.

02
Assessed, not attended.
GAISB certifications are earned by demonstrating capability. Three run in Port of Spain in the four days before the summit opens.
03
Where it is argued out.
Six Worlds, three days, and a room holding the people building, governing and living through this. The standard is only as good as the argument behind it.
Convener and organizer
The summit is convened by the Global AI Standards Body, and organized and hosted in the Caribbean by its local partner, AFSV VRC Global Development Group Ltd. of Canada.
Standards and certification body · United States
GAISB writes the standard for competent practice in artificial intelligence, certifies the people who meet it, and convenes the room where it is argued out. It is vendor-neutral, governed by practitioners, and every credential it issues is designed to be publicly verifiable.
GAISB is based in the United States and brings the summit to Port of Spain deliberately, on the argument that the countries with the most to gain from AI are the ones least represented in the rooms where it is decided.
AFSV VRC Global Development Group Ltd. · Canada
AFSV VRC Global Development Group Ltd. brings together sport, education and artificial intelligence to create opportunities for people and communities. Our focus includes developing AI-driven sports villages, supporting neurodivergent learners and building practical skills for the future. Through our partnership with GAISB, we are advancing AI education, certification and workforce readiness across Canada and the Caribbean.
Why the Caribbean
This is not a regional conference. It is a global summit on the world AI is creating, convened somewhere that has something at stake in the answer. Small and mid-sized nations either leapfrog in this decade or fall further behind, and the argument about which is not being had in San Francisco. It is being had here.
