Privacy policy
Version 1.2 · Last updated October 2, 2026
This policy covers gaisb.ai, the website of the GAISB AI World Summit 2027, operated by the Global AI Standards Body (“GAISB”) with the summit’s local partner and organizer, AFSV VRC Global Development Group Ltd. of Ontario, Canada (“AFSV”). In this policy, “we” means GAISB and AFSV. It explains what we collect when you use the site, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Registration details. When you buy a pass, Stripe passes us the details on your order: your name, email, billing country and the pass you bought. When you send an inquiry or reserve a seat, we receive the details you enter: your name, work email, country, the pass or subject you selected, and, for sponsorship inquiries, your company, website, role and message.
- Mailing list. If you join the mailing list, we receive your email address and use it only to send summit updates.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Our hosting network (Cloudflare) sets one short-lived security cookie, __cf_bm, to filter automated traffic. Stripe’s checkout pages set their own cookies under Stripe’s privacy policy.
How we use it
- To process and confirm your registration, and to contact you about it.
- To send summit news to the mailing list you joined. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except AFSV, which delivers the summit and holds your registration, and the service providers needed to run it: our payment processor, Stripe, in the United States, our email provider, our hosting provider, and Google, whose Google Sheets service stores what you submit through the site’s forms, each bound to use it only for that purpose. If you choose to share your details with a sponsor or exhibitor, for example by letting them scan your badge, they receive them directly and use them under their own privacy policy. The summit itself is photographed and filmed, as set out in the terms of registration.
The Global AI Standards Body is based in the United States, so registration details are processed and stored there, and shared with AFSV in Canada to deliver the summit. Stripe handles payment details under its own privacy policy; neither GAISB nor AFSV sees or stores your full card number.
How long we keep it
Registration records are kept through the event and for the period required for tax and accounting. Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept briefly and rotated automatically.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the rights set out in the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email summit@gaisb.ai.
