What gets selected

Real Systems, Real Numbers

The program is curated and speaking slots are limited, so be specific. Every proposal is read, and we aim to reply to everyone, including the no.

Something already workingFor talks, case studies and demonstrations, bring a system already in production and be ready to name the tool, the cost and the result. For research, bring the method, the data and the finding.
Specific beats impressiveOne clear idea, the number that proves it, and what went wrong on the way. General overviews of AI are not selected.
Built for this roomExecutives, governments and regulators, financial professionals, investors and builders, from the Caribbean and beyond. Speak to what they can act on.
Teach, do not sellProduct pitches are not selected. Speaking is not included in a sponsorship by default; companies that want a guaranteed presence can talk to us about sponsorship.

We welcome submissions for

Five Ways To Take Part

TalksOne speaker, one idea. Twenty minutes on the World Stage or in a World.
PanelsPropose the question and up to three guests. Forty minutes, moderated hard: disagreement on stage is the point.
Case studiesAn implementation from start to finish: the problem, the tool, the cost and the result, including what failed.
ResearchNew findings on AI in work, money, security, nations or people. Show the method and the data, not only the conclusion.
DemonstrationsShow it working, live, in front of the people who would use it: agents, products and systems.

The final format, length and stage of every session are confirmed with the speaker when the program is built.

Questions

Before You Submit

  • Is there a fee to submit?No.
  • Can I submit more than one proposal?Yes. Send each one through its own form.
  • Can sponsors and vendors apply?Yes, on the same terms as everyone else: the idea decides, and product pitches are not selected. Speaking is not included in a sponsorship by default. If a session you propose brings real value to attendees, we can discuss it.
  • Will my session be recorded?Sessions on both stages are recorded for Full Access and Executive delegates. Closed-door sessions are not, and a speaker may ask for a session not to be recorded.
  • Do I need to be in Port of Spain? The summit is an in-person event. If you could only present remotely, say so in your proposal.
  • Can I propose a session for the AI and Money track?Yes: choose the AI and Money track in the form. The Money Room is by invitation only and is not part of this call.
  • When will I hear back?Every proposal is read, and we aim to reply to everyone, including the no. Selected speakers confirm their session in writing.
  • Who do I contact with a question?Email summit@gaisb.ai with “Call for participation” in the subject line.
