Code of conduct
Version 1.0 · Last updated August 28, 2026
The summit brings executives, government leaders, builders and students into one room, with delegates expected from more than 50 countries. It works because everyone in that room can take part fully and safely. This code applies to every attendee, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, contractor and organizer, at every summit venue and event, including the social program and official online spaces.
Expected
- Treat everyone with respect and professionalism, in disagreement as much as in agreement.
- Debate ideas hard. The Great Debate exists precisely for that. Never make it personal.
- Respect a no, whether conversational, photographic or otherwise.
Not tolerated
- Harassment or intimidation of any kind, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.
- Unwelcome physical contact, following, or persistent unwanted attention.
- Disruption of sessions, threats, or abusive language.
- Recording or photographing someone after they have asked you not to.
Reporting
Report anything that concerns you to any member of summit staff, or email summit@gaisb.ai with “Conduct” in the subject line. Reports are handled discreetly, and you can report on someone else’s behalf.
Enforcement
The organizer may take any action it judges appropriate, from a warning to removal from the summit without refund, and, where warranted, referral to venue security or the police. Decisions on enforcement are final.
