Frequently asked
The questions people actually ask.
Dates, passes, certifications, travel, speaking and partnering. If yours is not here, summit@gaisb.ai reaches us.
The basics
- When and where is it?The summit opens on the evening of Thursday, April 29 and runs Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad, 1 Wrightson Road, Port of Spain. Certification week runs Monday, April 26 to Thursday, April 29 at the same venue.
- Who is it for?CEOs, technologists, government leaders, investors, builders, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals. It is deliberately not a room of only engineers, and not a room of only executives.
- Do I need a technical background? No. The six Worlds are built around consequences rather than implementations. The parts that assume technical fluency are the Build Lab and the AI Systems Security Architect certification, and both are clearly marked.
- What is on the agenda? The outline is in place: certification week Monday to Thursday, the summit opening Thursday evening, then two full days, with the six Worlds on the Worlds Stage and the signature experiences on the World Stage. The agenda page shows the week by part of day. The hour-by-hour, with rooms and speakers, is published closer to the summit.
- Can the program change?Yes. The tracks, agenda, sessions, speakers and timings may change, before or during the summit. AI moves fast, and we would rather shape the program around what is most relevant in the industry when the summit opens than hold to a plan that has gone out of date. The terms of registration cover this in full.
- Why register before the full agenda is out?Because early registration ends November 30, 2026, or sooner if early places are taken, which is before the hour-by-hour is published. You are committing to the outline of the program, and the early price reflects that.
- What language is it in?English.
- Is this a crypto conference? No. It is an AI summit that takes money seriously. Autonomous software already trades, settles and pays, so Money and Power covers agents with a balance sheet, stablecoins as the rails they use, tokenized markets and compute as an asset class, and The Intelligent Nation is built for the regulators and central banks working out the rules. If you run a bank, an exchange, a ministry or a treasury, the AI and Money track was built for you.
Passes
- What is the difference between Main Stage and Full Access?Main Stage gives you every Main Stage event: the opening keynote and opening experience, 2035, The Great Debate, The AI Chief of Staff, the G-10 expo and the closing address. Full Access adds the World Stage experiences (The 10X Company, The AI Investor Operating System, The War Room and The Agent Games), all six Worlds on the Worlds Stage, and recordings of the sessions on both stages.
- Why is Full Access capped at 500?Because the Worlds Stage is shared only by Full Access, Executive and The Sovereign Table, and we would rather cap the pass than oversell the room.
- What does Executive add?An executive lounge for the week, a reserved front block on both stages, executive-only sessions and briefings, and priority introductions to speakers.
- What is The Sovereign Table?Twelve seats, arranged privately rather than sold online. It carries everything in Executive plus a seat at Council 50 (the closed-door, unrecorded session), the Leaders’ Table dinner, private briefings with headline speakers, and curated introductions arranged before you arrive.
- Is Council 50 really only fifty people?Yes. The room physically seats fifty, and only twelve of those seats come through The Sovereign Table, arranged privately. The rest are invited. That is the constraint, not a marketing device.
- What if I need to cancel?Refunds are available in three cases. Within 14 days of payment, in full, no questions, if you ask before the summit begins. If you are refused a visa for Trinidad and Tobago, in full, on proof of the refusal, provided you applied at least 60 days before the summit and ask within 30 days of the refusal. And if we cancel the summit, or move it to dates you cannot make and you tell us within 30 days of the announcement, in full. Otherwise passes are non-refundable but never worthless: with our written approval, transfer yours free to another named attendee right up to the start of the summit. The terms of registration set this out in full.
- How do I pay?By card through Stripe, in United States dollars, from the registration page. If you reserved before checkout opened, we email you a checkout link, and the rate you reserved is held for 14 days from when we send it.
- Are group rates available?Yes, for groups of 10 or more attendees. Email summit@gaisb.ai with how many people are coming and which passes you want.
- Will sessions be recorded?Yes. Full Access and Executive passes include recordings of the sessions on both stages. Closed-door sessions, including Council 50, The Money Room and the ministerial roundtable, are not recorded, and a speaker may ask for a session not to be.
- What is the GAISB AI Club?GAISB’s members’ community, with live sessions on Zoom and every GAISB AI Club session from the past six months available on demand. Every summit pass includes access: 30 days with Main Stage, 60 days with Full Access and six months with Executive.
Certifications
- Are certifications included in a summit pass? No. Certification week is priced separately: AI Essentials US$495, AI Systems Security Architect US$3,995, AI Growth & Marketing Strategist US$3,995.
- Do I have to attend the summit to certify? No, but the week is built for it. Certifications finish Thursday afternoon and the summit opens with the keynote that evening.
- What do I leave with?A GAISB credential on successful completion, and something you built during the days themselves rather than notes about it.
- What is the Build Lab?Hands-on technical sessions whose topics are finalized close to the summit. Technical topics move faster than a planning cycle, so what gets taught is whatever matters most at the time.
Travel and the venue
- How do I get to Port of Spain?Piarco International Airport is about forty minutes from the hotel. There are direct routes from Miami, New York, Toronto and Panama City, and from London and Amsterdam, which puts most of the world within one connection. Delegates from Africa, the Middle East and Asia normally route through London or Amsterdam.
- Do I need a visa?It depends on your nationality. Many countries have visa-free entry to Trinidad and Tobago for short stays, but check the current requirements for your passport well ahead of booking. We provide invitation letters for visa applications on request.
- Should I come early or stay after? Both are easy. Tobago is twenty minutes away by air, and the summit finishes on a Saturday evening, which makes a long weekend straightforward.
Speaking and partnering
- How do I apply to speak?Submissions close January 31, 2027. Bring a system already in production and be ready to name the tool, the cost and the result. Sessions that cannot answer those three do not make the program.
- How does sponsorship work?A limited number of sponsorships are available, from headline position down to a presence on the floor. Packages and pricing are in the sponsorship deck, which we send on request: apply to sponsor. Speaking is not included by default. If a session you propose brings real value to attendees, we can discuss it.
- Can my company demonstrate at The Agent Games?Possibly. Demonstrations are selected, and the agent has to run live on stage: no slides, no corporate history. If it cannot be demonstrated, it does not belong on that stage.
